Hi, and welcome to my website!

I recently completed my PhD in Political Science at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), and I hold a Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Padova. My research sits at the intersection of democracy, human rights, and contentious politics, drawing primarily on quantitative methods alongside qualitative and mixed approaches.

Currently, I am working on illiberal mobilizations in Europe and their effects on democracy and human rights, as well as the transnational role of liberal democracies in enabling repressive practices in nondemocratic regimes.

My work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, including International Relations and European Studies Review. Additional research is currently under review at the European Journal of Political Research, and another manuscript has been revised and resubmitted to Interface.
